Mayor of London's Green Awards

Each year the Mayor of London’s Green Procurement Code holds an awards ceremony to recognise London organisations that have addressed environmental issues in their supply chains.
In 2010 the Green Procurement Code is linking with the Green 500 and Better Buildings Partnership for an even bigger celebration of achievements: The Mayor of London’s Green Awards.
We are now accepting award submissions from Green Procurement Code signatories. The Green Procurement Code awards will be judged on how well green procurement has been embedded in your
organisation.
This year we have changed the awards categories in order to help you benchmark your organisation against others in your sector. There will be green procurement awards in the following categories:
• Best large corporation
• Best SME
• Best in public sector (excluding GLA Group)
• Best in the GLA Group
• Best in third sector
• Best newcomer
These awards are a fantastic opportunity to gain recognition for your efforts and celebrate your achievements in green purchasing.
To enter the awards you need to complete part one of the online Green Procurement Code progress review survey and submit a case study entry form by 27 May 2010. Click here for further information
